Terms and Conditions

QRaze
Last updated: 30 October 2026
These Terms and Conditions apply when you use the QRaze website, create or manage a QRaze profile, subscribe to QRaze Pro, submit a form, or order a QRaze card.

1. About QRaze
QRaze is operated by Jack Carter, a sole trader trading as QRaze.
Business address:
Unit 1, 44A Dudley Road
Eastbourne
BN22 8HE
Email: admin@qraze.co.uk
Website: www.qraze.co.uk
References to “QRaze”, “we”, “us” and “our” mean Jack Carter trading as QRaze. QRaze is a trading name, not a limited company.
These Terms apply to account holders, profile owners, visitors and other users of the QRaze website and services.

2. Accepting these Terms
By creating an account, buying or using a QRaze profile, submitting content, ordering a card or using the website, you agree to these Terms.
If you use QRaze on behalf of a business or organisation, you confirm that you have authority to act for it.

3. QRaze profiles
QRaze allows individuals and businesses to create public pages containing information such as names, contact details, descriptions, services, images, documents, menus, websites and social links.
Profile owners are responsible for making sure their page information is accurate, lawful and up to date. A QRaze profile is not a verification, accreditation, endorsement or recommendation by QRaze of its owner or their services.
QRaze does not provide a profile owner’s goods or services unless we expressly say otherwise. Visitors should make their own checks before relying on a profile or entering into an agreement with its owner.

4. Forms, enquiries and bookings
QRaze may provide quote, enquiry, contact or booking request forms configured for a profile.
When a visitor submits a form, QRaze routes the information to the email address selected by the profile owner. QRaze does not intentionally save these submissions in its Profile CMS or a separate leads database. Wix processes the information to deliver the email and may hold limited technical or operational records. The profile owner receives the submission in their email account and is responsible for how they use and retain it.
A form submission is normally a request or enquiry only. A quote, booking or other request does not create a contract, confirmed appointment or accepted offer unless the profile owner confirms it. QRaze does not guarantee that a profile owner will read, respond to, accept or fulfil a request.
Profile owners must monitor their email and handle personal information received through forms lawfully. They are responsible for giving visitors any privacy information required for their own use of that information.

5. Page Owner responsibilities and prohibited use
Profile owners must use QRaze lawfully and responsibly. You must not publish or link to content that is illegal, fraudulent, misleading, abusive, threatening, defamatory, discriminatory, obscene, infringing or that promotes prohibited products or services.

You must not:

  • Impersonate a person or business or mislead visitors about identity, services or affiliation.

  • Use QRaze to harass, threaten, deceive or unlawfully collect personal information.

  • Send spam through QRaze or its forms.

  • Upload malware or other material intended to compromise the website.

  • Attempt unauthorised access to accounts, systems or data.

  • Interfere with the normal operation or security of QRaze.

You are responsible for ensuring that information, prices, menus, images, links and service descriptions on your profile are accurate and do not unlawfully infringe another person’s rights.

6. Review, suspension and removal
New profiles and submitted profile changes are reviewed before publication. Review does not guarantee that every statement, link, offer or item of content is accurate, lawful or safe.
We may reject, restrict, suspend or remove a profile, content or account where we reasonably believe that:

  • These Terms or the law have been breached.

  • The website is being misused.

  • Continued access creates a security, legal or safety risk.

  • We are required to act by law or an authority.

Where reasonably practicable, we will give notice and an opportunity to address the issue. We may act without notice where immediate action is reasonably needed for security, legal or safety reasons.
We may add automated profanity or content filters in the future. No filter should be assumed to identify every inappropriate item.

7. Social media and external links
QRaze profiles may link to third-party websites and social-media services. These are operated independently of QRaze. We do not control or guarantee their content, availability, security or privacy practices. Your use of a third-party service is subject to its own terms and policies.
We may remove or disable a link where we reasonably believe it is unlawful, misleading, malicious or contrary to these Terms.

8. Your content and our permission to use it
You retain ownership of content you submit. You give QRaze a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free permission to host, reproduce, display, format and technically modify your content as reasonably necessary to provide and maintain QRaze, display your profile, generate its QR code and produce a card you order.
You confirm that you have the rights and permissions needed to upload or publish your content, including logos, photographs, documents, names and links.
QRaze and its licensors retain rights in the QRaze website, software, branding, design, functionality and materials created by QRaze. You must not copy, reverse engineer, reproduce, sell, distribute or commercially exploit those materials without permission, except where permitted by law.

9. Accounts and security
You are responsible for keeping your login details secure and for activity carried out through your account. Notify us promptly at admin@qraze.co.uk if you believe your account has been accessed without authorisation.
We may restrict account access where needed to protect users, the website or third parties.

10. QRaze Pro subscriptions
QRaze Pro currently costs £14.99 per month. There are no setup fees or free trials. The checkout will show the amount payable before you subscribe. QRaze is not currently VAT registered.
The subscription renews monthly until cancelled.
To cancel, sign in to your QRaze member account, open My Subscriptions, select the QRaze Pro plan, choose Cancel Subscription, and confirm. If you cannot access the cancellation option, email admin@qraze.co.uk with a clear request to cancel.
Cancellation stops future renewals. Your paid access continues until the end of the current paid billing period. Cancelling does not automatically issue a refund; your statutory rights are unaffected. Wix describes a recurring plan as pending cancellation until the paid period ends. Wix cancellation guidance.
Consumers may have a legal 14-day cancellation period when entering a subscription contract online. If you ask us to start providing the service during that period, you may have to pay for the part supplied before cancellation. We will request any agreement or acknowledgement required for this. Your rights if a service is faulty or not as described are unaffected.
When a paid subscription ends, access to paid features and profile eligibility may end. We may restrict or set a profile offline in accordance with the plan and account status.
A free profile-only subscription is a future plan and is not currently offered.

11. QRaze cards
Cards may be purchased separately. You provide the card text, logo and QR destination, and may provide a different NFC destination. You are responsible for checking these details are correct and that you have permission to use them.
One free card is available to each eligible paying QRaze subscriber, subject to the offer shown in their account and approval of the submitted design. The entitlement is limited to one card per subscriber and cannot be exchanged for cash.
There are currently no delivery charges. Once payment has cleared and the design has been approved, we aim to dispatch the card within 24 hours. Delivery is estimated at 3–5 business days after dispatch. These are estimates, not guaranteed delivery dates.
If a card is personalised with your details or design, a legal change-of-mind cancellation exception for personalised or custom-made goods may apply. This does not remove your rights if a card is faulty, damaged or does not match the agreed design.
To cancel a card order, report a fault or query delivery, email admin@qraze.co.uk with your order details. Contact us promptly so we can check whether production or dispatch has started. We will explain the available options and apply your statutory rights.

12. Payments and orders
Payments are processed through Wix’s checkout and payment services. Payment card details are handled through those services.
An order is accepted when we confirm it or begin processing it, subject to payment approval and any required profile or design review. We may contact you if information is missing or needs correction.

13. Privacy and data protection
We process personal information as explained in the QRaze Privacy Notice. The Privacy Notice explains the information we use, why we use it, who receives it, how long we keep it and how to exercise your rights.
Where a profile owner receives personal information through a QRaze form, that profile owner is responsible for their subsequent use of it and for providing any privacy information required by law.

14. Availability and changes
We aim to keep QRaze available and secure but do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. We may carry out maintenance, upgrades or security work, and features may be added, changed or discontinued.
QR codes and NFC links depend on QRaze, the profile and any third-party destination remaining available. We cannot guarantee that a third-party website or service will remain available.
We may update these Terms from time to time. The latest version will be published on the website with a revised date. Where a change materially affects existing users, we may provide additional notice where reasonably appropriate.

15. Liability
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including liability for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, death or personal injury caused by negligence, or statutory rights that cannot be excluded.
If you use QRaze as a consumer, we are responsible for foreseeable loss caused by our breach of these Terms or failure to use reasonable care and skill. We are not responsible for products, services or content supplied by profile owners or third-party websites, except where the law makes us responsible.
If you use QRaze for business purposes, to the extent permitted by law we are not responsible for indirect or consequential loss, loss of profit, opportunity or reputation arising from use of the Services.

16. Complaints and contact
Complaints, card issues, cancellation requests and content reports should be sent to admin@qraze.co.uk with enough information for us to investigate. We will consider complaints fairly and respond within a reasonable period.

17. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, subject to any mandatory consumer rights that apply to you. The courts of England and Wales will have jurisdiction over disputes, except where mandatory law provides otherwise.

18. Standard cancellation form
You may use this form to tell us you wish to cancel a contract where you have a legal right to do so. Email it to admin@qraze.co.uk.
